Supervisor- Chitin Plant Operations-National Prawns Co-Jeddah

*To manage entire plant operational activities and plant staff
*To guide and monitor the production and maintenance team for achieving
the production targets of Chitin, Chitosan, Glucosamine and Shrimp head
meal products
*To direct and co-ordinate plant operations within company policy and procedures
*To achieve production goals of the plant
*Establish and maintain a positive community relationship and foster well-trained and motivated staff
*To confer with department head to ensure co-ordination of procurement, production and shipping
*To assure the quality of raw materials procured for the production
process by supplier pre-qualification and periodic supplier evaluation
*To plan and establish all shift production schedules
*To select and train plant supervisory and production staffs
*To conduct employee performance reviews and evaluation
*To schedule and conduct internal meetings
*To ensure product quality and safety by monitoring process and quality control activities
*To monitor internal quality control laboratory analysis, verify and approve lab reports
*To attend scheduled corporate trainings and meetings
*To ensure plant safety and occupational safety of employees
*To endertake all administrative and HR tasks of the plant including
employees attendance, vacation, performance evaluation, discipline,
punctuality etc.
*To communicate officially over any issues with department head and
other leadership staffs of supporting departments using corporate
communication system of the company
*To implement total quality management, various SOPs, Corporate systems
Standards such as ISO - QMS, EMS, FSMS, HACCP, SASO, EU etc
*To develop and control operational budget of the plant
*To maintain highest quality of standards, ensure safe working practice
and care for environment, food and health safety through total adherence
to the policies and guidelines set up by the company related to product
quality, safety and environment.
*To make assure customer satisfaction on products and deal customer complaints and concerns
*To develop a professional environment and ethics in the entire activities of the plant
