Solution Architect Infrastructure-GulfNet Solutions Company-Khobar

Design of information technology infrastructure solutions to meet client’s business and (or) technical requirements following GNS standard processes and architecture methodologies.
Development of architecture for new infrastructure solutions leveraging new technologies.
Work with High level executives from client side and with on-site lead architects to develop technology plans.
Engage with on-site vendors on a need basis.
Engage with GNS’s various lines of services (LoS) throughout the architecture design phase and lead the development of the technical solution.
Handle multiple infrastructure technologies projects (Please refer below Infrastructure Technology Skills).
Work with internal teams and external teams (Outsourced) to develop a best IT infrastructure solution.
Partners with executive management to ensure the deal & solution accomplish business objectives.
Monitors industry and collects data to maintain awareness of current practices and future trends.
Supports the decision-makers in shaping and closing IT infrastructure deals.
Documentation of architecture design to various levels of detail using the prescribed templates and standards.
Develops & presents reports to different stakeholders including senior management/executive level.
Client presentations.
Work as an individual contributor.
Preparation of bill of materials for solutions developed.

Skills
Enterprise Class Servers Experience in designing infrastructure solutions around DELL, SUN and (or) IBM OS/390 server platforms. Mid range Server Experience in designing infrastructure solutions around HP, DELL, SUN servers with the ability to design high availability clusters and virtualization. Network Operating Systems Experience in designing solutions around MS Windows Server technologies, Linux and virtualization. Storage and Backup Experience in designing enterprise class storage network solutions around technologies like SAN, NAS, iSCSI and products like EMC, NetApp and DELL storage boxes. Experience in designing backup solutions for heterogeneous server platforms (Windows, UNIX, IBM OS/390 etc.). Network and Security - Experience in designing enterprise class LAN (Campus LAN, Data Center LAN), WAN (VPN, MPLS) and network security (IPS, IDS, Firewalls, DMZ DLP, Encryption). Systems Management - Experience in designing solutions around enterprise class network and server management solutions such as Computer Associates Unicenter, HP Openview, and IBM Tivoli. Internet Technologies Experience in designing solutions for external facing services using Web servers, Proxy servers, Load balancers, Application accelerators etc. Databases Experience in designing infrastructure solutions for databases, D/R solutions around databases - Oracle, SQL, MySQL, DB2 etc. ERP Experience in designing Infrastructure solutions for CRM, SAP, Oracle, B2B, B2C, E2E, E2C applications and message integrators. The candidate should be a good practitioner in at least three or more of the above infrastructure categories with 3 or more years of experience and for the rest of the categories the person the candidate should have an overall understanding of the technology.
