Qualifications:
•Secondary school
•Able to read & write English
•Numeric skills
•Age between 25 to 30 years
•Must complete eye test to Company standard.
•Minimum 2-3 years working experience as Forklift operator.
•To assist stock-controllers to load or unload reefers by moving stocks with FIFO system by operating electric , gasoline or diesel-powered forklift trucks with rated lifting capacity of less than 4500 Kg to heights not more than 42 cm. To operate the lifting and tilting controls and steers of the vehicle into position to load, move, transport, and stack goods and materials contained on pallet, skids, crates, or boxes about such locations as warehouses, cold stores and loading ramps.
Areas of Responsibility :
1.Load and unload reefers to meet reefer turnaround deadline.
2.Store products in the right location to ensure space utilization and smooth movements of forklift and , people.
3.Handle products correctly to ensure minimum product damage.
4.Stack products in FIFO system.
5.Clean Forklift and work area to ensure a tidy and neat environment.
6.Operate Forklift effectively to ensure a safe free of accident working environment.
7.Pre-inspect Forklift and charge batteries to ensure the continues use of Forklift.
