Performance Management General-IDB-Jeddah

Job Descriptions:
    Ensure that the performance management system delivers alignment between the individual objectives and the IDB long-term strategy and business plans.
    Serve as the primary contact in HRMD to assist the Balanced Scorecard Team in the strategic implementation and operationalization of the BSC.
    Work in partnership with the Balanced Scorecard Team to communicate key performance indicators across the IDB.
    Conduct performance metrics and calibration across the IDB.
    Integrate performance management process with other HRMD processes (i.e. talent management, career track, learning and development, etc.).
    Plan, prepare, implement and communicate annual performance management process cycle (i.e. performance planning, mid-year progress review and year-end evaluation).
    Collate, check eligibility for and deal with staff objections and refer appeals to ensure that they are dealt with according to the IDB’s policies and procedures.
    Manage the interim performance evaluation and confirmation processes of staff under probation.
    Implement and monitor the promotion and award processes.
    Research best practices in staff performance management, provide analysis and recommend changes for management approval.
    Analyze significant performance management issues and develop recommendations and alternative solutions.
    Learn new performance improvement approaches and tools used in other world-class organizations and assess feasibility of implementing these in the IDB performance management system.
    Develop and recommend new policies and procedures to enhance staff performance management system.
    Review existing promotion and awards processes, degree to which they leverage competencies, and recommend any enhancements.
    Contribute to the improvement of HRMD systems and processes to enhance the operation of the Department.

Talent Management Specialist-IDB-Jeddah

People Strategy, Leadership and Management Development , Career Planning:
    Participate in the development of IDB’s people strategy, ensuring it is aligned horizontally (across internal HR functions) and vertically with business strategy.    
    Support the design, data analysis, development and implementation of an effective Talent Management Framework that supports and operationalizes the people strategy.  
    Support the creation of documents and communications that promote the people and talent management strategies.
    Determine Leadership and Management development needs in collaboration with internal clients.

Learning Specialist-IDB-Jeddah

Planning, Programming and Budgeting, Training Management:
    Plan, design and develop training and development programmes based on both the organisation’s and the individual’s needs
    Prepare and consolidate the Bank’s Annual Learning Plans through the learning needs activities Identify training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with departments
    Support, identify, analyze and classify training needs of IDB staff and categorize these needs by themes and priority.
    Develop, design, conduct, deliver and assess outcome of appropriate learning and development programmes for staff
    Plan, schedule and conduct orientation sessions
    Manage the costs of planned programmes and keep within budgets.  Assist in the preparation of the Annual Learning budgets

    Collaborate with internal customers on projects and initiatives particularly where there may be a cross functional need or by special requests

    Assist in the effective implementation and delivery of Leadership Development programmes
    Initiate & maintain a learning and development nomination system that will allow departments to nominate their employees to attend the appropriate training

    Design, prepare, analyse and maintain proper training information database and training statistics for management reporting
    Keep up to date with developments in training, provide continuous improvements in quality of training and internal customer service

Gather Employee Feedback, Analysis:
    Gather employee feedback using formal methods such as, interviews and surveys, as well as informal channels
    Conduct pulse interviews to assess employee reactions to newly implemented initiatives

Recruitment Specialist-IDB-Jeddah

Planning, Requirement Process, Screening & Announcement / Advertisement , Logistic Support:
    Plan and daily activities and assign tasks to support staff and coordinate all activities for timely completion to meet deadlines
    Review staffing needs explained in a specific format (requisition form) from the Bank Departments and verify availability of budget
    Interact with the concerned line manager on the specific need and establish the valid manpower requirement against budgeted positions for the line department
    Advise IDB Departments to provide budget allocation for the position to be filled if it is not budgeted for.
    Coordinate, undertake & complete all recruitment administrative activities with the dedicated external partners (ES & RA) to ensure that processes operate smoothly within the Bank procedures
    Manage all internal/external communications, in consultation with the Sr. Recruitment Specialist
    Conduct BEIT within the Bank as well as serve as an qualified assessor for assessment centre.
    Screen applications received to develop a long list of candidates for review by the concerned line manager so that he can short-list some of them for interview
    Ensure proper job evaluation to determine the grade of the position to be recruited for
    Check databank applications received, and other sources such as possible internal candidates, or seek more candidates
    Prepare position vacancy announcements internally as well as ad in the newspapers with specific closing dates.
    Arrange for logistic support as required from time to time by reserving hotel accommodation, business centres for external interviews, providing for visas to external job applicants invited for interview or to new employees reporting for duty
    Process invoices to pay for the candidates accommodation, food, transportation, etc.

Interview, Final selection, Job offer, Reporting:
    Prepare for interview according to established guidelines for different position categories.
    Organize and follow up the composition of the Interview Technical  panel, date and venue in coordination with the concerned line department and in accordance with IBD rules, procedures and practices.
    Arrange the necessary logistics for external candidates to be provided with required entry visas,  hotel accommodation, food, and transportation.
    Invite candidates as well as interview panel members and provide them with a file of required documents (candidate CV, interview guidelines, job description & evaluation document, scoring sheets, etc.)
    Draft reports of the Technical Interview with recommendations by the Panel members of the technically suitable candidates for the final selection interview and obtain their clearance for record and reference.
    Coordinate with the concerned line department, offices of the concerned Management members and others on the date and venue of the final selection interview and organize the interview accordingly.
    Draft reports of the Panel members along with their final selection decision as well as the agreed grade level at which the job is to be offered.
    Obtain clearance of the Management members as well as the other panel members to validate the final selection.
    Prepare job offer letters in a standard format with the agreed salary package or any required modifications to be cleared at the authorized signatory level for issue to the selectee
    Follow up with the selectee for necessary confirmation of the offer made as well as of the date he can report for duty
    Deal with attraction issues that often arise after the offer is made and brief Management with necessary information such as a comparison of his current package with IDB offer to help Management make a right decision.
    Prepare a revised job offer if agreed with a different package to be cleared at the authorized signatory level for issue to the selectee
    Prepare necessary documents after the new employee enters on duty to record his particular assignment at the agreed salary package and on agreed IDB rules  
    Prepare periodical reports to keep the relevant levels fully aware of the current  recruitment status and latest progress and development.
